Well, I'm not sure if this is related or not but I ordered the paperwork in January and got it last week. Just the paperwork, haven't filled it out and sent it in or anything.

Wow, that is rediculous! I filed my paperwork back in mid February and got my error letter a week prior to my 90 day mark. Worked on some issues correcting the paperwork and getting the item deregistered from the prior owner but I think this was out of the ordinary.

After 90-100 days I would be calling and finding out what was going on. At the minimum I would have put a tracking on the package and wrote a personal check to see when the funds clear.

Perhaps they are backed up or on furlough for the summer. I hope everything works out.

call, call, call...not to be a anoyance but to just find out the status and get a level of comfort that they have everything and it is at least pending or processing.

On individual forms the backlog is with the fingerprint cards going through the FBI. Most individual forms are taking a lot longer than trusts for this reason.

My 2 form 1's filed through a trust only took 92 days or something like that.

My form 1 took a little more than 80 days. My form 4s with a trust took a little over 90 days. Another thing to consider is that each individual examiner works at a different pace. Your examiner is assigned based upon the letters in your name or trust. I had Santamaria as an examiner and she has been pretty good thus far. I would guess that you will be receiving your form back somete pretty soon, but as someone said before you could call and check the status.
