Just picked up 100 various backpackers pantry meals for $2 each at a local flea market. Expirations of 2020+ Wish I would have stopped in before now. They said the booth used to have 5x as many
I will second that! Would like to catch a find like that. I have not gone to flea markets for a while, pissed me off when I saw the $70 box of 22's last year and thought it would be best for my blood pressure not to go back in the one down here.
That's a good score for some long term storage food.
I can say in my history of backpacking and camping I'm pretty much burned out on eating that stuff for meals while on the trail, but there is still a good convenience factor in taking some along on trips when you need some quick and easy eats.
I scored some mag pouches and some survival items at the flea market in beech grove. The guy had a lot of new 'tactical' type gear and packs. I love yard sales, flea markets, and antique stores.
I have accumulated a lot of supplies from Goodwill. Lanterns, Military packs, BDU's, winter gear, Pac man boots, M-65 Jackets, Poncho with liners, gas mask, self inflating sleeping pads, tents and the list goes on !!!
