First Time CC'ing

CC'ed a S&W .38 SPC revolver around town today...Papa John's, The UPS Store (to get my LTCH laminated, got a look from a woman in there), and Half Price Books. Very strange feeling but I liked it. Need some 9mm ammo so I can carry my P11.

I wish I could remember my first CC experience.

I remember mine. I was helping a friend take a couple small tractors over to the Logansport mall for a show they were having. Walked up to the doors to see that "No Weapons" were permitted.

Congrats! Keep doing it everyday and you'll feel naked without it before long. I know I do. I'm CC during most waking hours. OC some around the house/yard. Only without gun on my person in bed or heading to a legalized victim zone.

A legalized victim zone would seem to be a place where you are not allowed to carry, implying that someone not following those rules can freely shoot anyone they please.

Congrats about the first day carrying! I fondly remember mine. I also got some odd looks when I was laminating mine. At the time I had a holster that was too long for my Sig and it poked out of the bottom of my shirt.

A legalized victim zone is a place that forces you to disarm, so that the criminals have free reign, knowing that the only ones who will follow the law and disarm are those who have no desire to break the law in the first place.

Yes. Today, I went up to my grandparents and told them about my experience and my grandma asked, "Why did you want to carry?" and my response was, "it's my right."

Congrats on the first CC!

My first "carry" was last week.. I went straight to an OC to break the ice, have CC'd a cpl times since. No problems either way(so far) in Fort Wayne.

Congrats! I've CC'd but I've recently started OCing. I had the same weird feeling when I started OCing as when I first CCd. Now the feeling isweird when I don't. You'll get used to it.
