I do hvac for a living and had a customer show me a Remington 221 firepower pistol yesterday, I have never seen one before it almost looked like a toy had a plastic stock and was bolt action. I will be going back and possibly purchasing it from him he had talked about selling everything he had. Has anyone ever had any experience with this gun I found out they were made in 1969s-1970s

This caliber came from the .222 Remington, as a parent case=By the way, is also what the .223 Remington/ 5.56 NATO Round came from.

The .221 Fireball caliber was a Varmint lovers round in the 60-70's.

Cases can be formed from the .223 Remington round, but it is a lot of work...Bill.
