Does anyone know where I could go about locating custom moulds or a mold for a 220gr 30-06 without a gas check? I looked around a bit on the net but was hoping someone could save me some time. Or if someone knows where I could order a custom one (last resort). I would prefer a base pour, but a nose pour would be okay.

Nevermind if its a hoch mould, I bought one and they wouldn't cast properly for anything.

Not to get off topic, but why would you want to push a bullet that fast without a gas check? Is there a particular reason?

ASSRA doesn't allow gas checks, jackets, or half jackets. I signed up for a year membership at a range near one of my uncles, and I want to get started on trying some molds and stuff for competition.

It's not a big deal to have the gas check removed. Reaming it out is pretty straightforward. I've got a 210gr .30 cal Lyman mould, forget the number, but I can check for you. Eric will do it for you for $15 per mould set-up and $5per cavity
