    After the NFA shoot on August 10, I joked with BigCraig that he had an unorthodox way of planting his watermelon crop.

    To my surprise, when I was mowing the range this week, this is what I found on the dam! [Editors note: To the agriculturally impaired, those are watermelon seedlings.:)]

    While the watermelon crop is thriving, the shells we planted aren't showing any sign of sprouting. I wish they would. With the high cost of ammunition these days, I was hoping to save a few bucks by growing my own...

    Ahh, but are the melons going to have #4 or 00 buck seeds?
