I always liked the school pizzas the next day. They were soggier, and meltier, if that's a word. in high school we could get them everyday, which was the only reason I showed up for school anyway.

I'm with you. School cafeteria cardboard crust pizza is why I've never believed the adage, "Pizza is like sex. When it's good, it's great. But, when it's bad... it's still pretty good." No. When it's bad, it's horrid.

Ahh, the memories! My favorite school lunch in elementary school was "double pizza day"! Two giant rectangular pieces of goodness, lol.

Ok, my mouth is watering right now! It looks pretty close but I seem to remember a lot more grease dripping off of it and pooling on the plate. Oh, yeah, and not complete without fries covered in ketchup.
