I ponder this thought. The end of days is come and gone... martial law is in place... Nevermind the circumstances getting me to this, but I'm in the middle of nowhere, hungry.... starving even. I have nothing but half a tomato, some greens that narrowly resemble lettuce, two packets of mayo, what's probably the last two slices of bread on earth, an M60 and cart full of ammo. I've seen nothing living for days. I come across a pound of bacon. Please don't ask the thought tangent which took me here...

    For discussion:
For what ever reason, fire is out of the question.

    Should I

    A) eat the makings of a potentially most appreciated BLT individually and chew thru the uncooked bacon?

B):ar15: load up the 60, popping off shots at whatever does move, and cook the bacon on the barrel to make the most appreciated BLT ever?

    Bonus:

Theoretically, how many rounds would it take to get the bacon just perfectly crispy? Not crunchy, just crispy.

any McGuyver fan worth his salt knows with the ingredients listed you could make a single engine plane to get you to a white castle.

The bacon could be used as barter, but I'm sure you knew that.

Since it's the end of days, that means the sun is shinning unusually bright, use the surface temperature of the road, car hood or something similar to cook the bacon...don't eat it raw.

definitely the weirdest survival question but the only real response is to cook the bacon, if you going to eat bacon you need to enjoy it.

i wouldn't waste ammo on it but i would definitely start a fire and cook it up and enjoy one of the greatest things ever

I wasn't saying that I can't start a fire, just said is was unavailable. Say it's within a nuke radius and there's nothing to burn... I added that I had a cart load of ammo, I guess I should have added that I raided an abandoned military stockpile and have a few million rounds. :ar15:Was really going for the more specific thoght of how many rounds it would take to heat the barrel long enough to cook bacon on. If I was really just going for the post count I'd surf around and bump all the threads... Just kinda went on a tangent...
