Extreme Home Makeover in Mass.

My mom religiously watches EHM and it's a GREAT show for what they do to people. But i just watched them, in some town, using Revolutionary War Muskets, shoot up a home for demo purposes. Kind really kewl and all, but surely being in town they had to get some kind of permission right? And tell the people living around them to clear their homes, etc...

Just looking for thoughts on this or if anyone seen this episode tonight? It was new tonight.
