I've had 3 tikka's I've sent them on there way with no regrets. A used 270, a 338 fed and a 6.5 x 55. They shot very well but I didn't care for the feel of them. An example: 3 or 4 years ago when the 338 fed was just coming out I set up a 338 fed on a savage action, put it in a duramax stock and put a timney trigger on it, day in, day out it would shoot 1 1/8" groups @ 100. After the test run with the savage I purchased the tikka in 338 fed, man that thing would shoot but when it came time to go to the woods the savage went because for me it had a better feel. I still have the savage but it's now the back up, the primary gun is a Sako 85 in a McMillian stock.
