Headed out early this morning to New Castle. I took my Colt 6920 and my new Classic Arms WASR. I was there on Saturday and with the help of my friend, fellow INGOer YukYuPhat, we sighted in the MBUS. Today I decided to held out by myself to sight in the EoTech 512.

The Colt is way more accurate than I am. It took a few 3 round groups to get the EoTech into the center diamond, but it got there eventually. I was able to put a few of the rounds within a mm or two each other. This was using 55gr 5.56. When I switched to the Brown Bear .223, my accuracy went down.

The WASR on the other hand needed no adjustment. the rifle fired all morning with a hitch...which is a vast improvement over the first time i fired it. I think it was a cosmoline issue, as some more red-brown gunk started seeping out. I also worked the action about 100 times before heading out this morning, so that may have helped.
