And his opinion will carry virtually ZERO weight in the states that have already passed this type of law.

There is no real effort in any state to repeal these laws. Depending on how you count STAND YOUR GROUND laws (vary by wording) and CASTLE DOCTRINE states there are roughly 1/2 the states that allow stand your ground anywhere and about 2/3rds of the states allow it anywhere on/in your property (including your car). States have been EXPANDING these laws, not restricting them.

What may be most interesting is that ZIMMERMAN's attorney's never evoked a "stand your ground" defense in the trial, I wonder if Holder even has a clue???

Of course he does. If you can't ban guns outright, the next best thing is to shrink the number of circumstances under which they can be used legally. Can you imagine the mayhem to the safety of people like us if they could upend the law to the point of requiring retreat to the satisfaction of the stupidest of jurors? We will be held liable for defending ourselves before waiting for Scotty to beam us up!

The fact that 'stand your ground' was not used or addressed in the Zimmerman trial is irrelevant. The narrative has been screaming that it is the root of all evil and the thing denying Trayvon 'justice' from day one, and its irrelevance will not stand in the way of it being the battle cry of being the agent of blood flowing like a river in our streets.

Absolutely. They lost their gun/magazine ban attack legislation. They lost their back-door gun registration attack. But any good progressive will keep trying. If they can't take away the objects of their disdain, it's apparent they're going to attack their permitted uses.

The Attorney General of the United States of America is weighing in on a state issue and coming in on the side of the attacker.

Know your enemies by their friends.

Exactly! A thorough and succinct explanation of truth worthy of the first-class barrister who offered it!

Democrats will not rest until we are all defenseless, and dependent on them for our very lives. So this is an expected and predictable spin. Obama has been a "European Socialist" all along. If you want to know what their ideal gun laws are just look at Europe, specifically Britain, where you cannot even use a licensed shotgun to defend your home from intruders without going to prison for life.

I wonder how he feels about retreating before I place my foot in his ass? Would that be racist? Only to a racist like Holder.

Typical holder thuggery. As far as he's concerned the only people who have a right to guns are the feds and drug cartels.

The Zimmerman incident had nothing to do with any "stand your ground" laws as others have pointed out. He was tried and found not guilty of murder 2 and manslaughter charges which basically concludes that the jury believed based upon the evidence that the prosecution could not prove beyond a reasonable doubt that it was anything other than a justified use of deadly force in defense of self.

Holder is a political hack dope.
