To you legal minded, how does this not violate equal protection clauses? If government runs the election and the state runs get out the vote efforts, how can those efforts not be distributed equally, no matter the source of the funding, government or private foundations?

Mail ballots and the associated efforts are "technically" non-partisan (wink, wink). The Left is just better at it than we are. It's another case of "progress" that "The Right is Politicizing" (cf. Jamil's other thread).
