Just about every Easter after lunch with the family I sneak outside to my inlaws pond for a few. Yesterday the wind out there was horrible but I managed an hour of fishing. I was trying for crappie/gills. I started with beemoth and no bites at all. Switched to a tube jig under a float tipped with beemoth. First cast i caught a 12" bass shallow. 20 minutes later I had about enough of the wind and decided a couple more casts was all I had left. 2 casts later I caught this guy. Awesome fight on an ultra light.
