cut from the site linked above...93mph with 1.4 ton payload capacity!!! go ahead and take your ammo stash with you!

The concept is powered by a high-torque common-rail diesel engine that enables speeds of up to 93 mph, with a payload capacity of 1.4 tons.
The full steel body provides ballistic protection, while the modular armor plate system includes a mine deflector built into the floor.
The LAPV 6.X also features variable-lift coil-over air shocks front and rear, providing up to 17.7 inches of ground clearance, as well as an individual tire-inflation system.
The European Aeronautic Defense and Space Company (EADS) supplied a vehicle data recorder, UHF/VHF integrated communication system, integrated mobile command/control and jamming system.

my BOV is a freakin horse.
I'm sure I'm reading into it too much but I'm sure I would rather have a horse that is not "Freaking" or even prone to freak. The last thing you need is to get thrown and injured in a SHTF situation.:D
Edit: upon reflection...sory, my sense of humor peaked in middle school.
