I'm looking for a FREE (donated) Med - Lg. dog cage and a bag of food for our PD. Lately, we seem to be coming across quite a few lost dogs in our small city and have nowhere for the dogs to stay until the owner can be located/notified (this usually takes no longer than a day). The cage will only serve as a temporary home until the owner can be contacted! Animal Control only gets called for vicious dogs.
If anyone has a medium - large (larger the better) dog cage and a bag of food they no longer need (maybe your dog has passed and you aren't looking for another), please let me know!
I'm a dog lover but if it wasn't for being an unpaid reserve having to drive an hour each way to work at the PD and having already spent a ton on gear this year I would just go buy one myself.
I live in Hamilton County but I'm often in Boone, Hendricks, Clinton, Marion, Madison, Tipton, and Grant Counties. Depending on the area I will come get!
