    They burst into flame because of all the carbon emissions they store inside. It's hard work saving the planet.
    When doing work at Tractor Supplys Dist in Pendelton a picker dropped her scanner down into a conveyor drive gearbox. the only way to get it out was to crush it and pull it out in chunks.
    It was amazing how much heat and smoke those batterys held.

    As many lithium ion battery fires as I've seen stories of you'd think there would be mass cries to ban them. Its almost as if this country is half filled with hypocrites or something.
    I am sure glad they do not put these in cars or trucks.. WOW could you imagine if a vehicle would suddenly burst into flames.. :)

    Nor laptops. Nor cell phones. Nor string trimmers. Nor picatinny rail-mounted flashlights. Ah, for the good old days of super duper efficient NiCad batteries.
