What I mean is:
In the ER thread, the fellow talks about how lower power rounds dont penetrate enough when hollow-points are used.
I was wondering if anyone staggered rounds in their magazines.
HP,FMJ,HP,FMJ, etc.
I generally pack a P64 (9mm mak) with hollowpoints and I was wondering if staggering would give the best of both worlds or if its a dumb idea.
I always thought if I had a double barrel derringer, I would have a .45/410 and have a .410 bridshot shell in the first barrel and a .45 in the second.
The idea would be....couldnt miss at close range with the shot, which would maybe stun the perp for a second while I could take aim with the second round.
Sounds good, but probally wouldnt work in the adrenalin fueled situation.
