The most common pieces of advice given by INGO to AR newbies is to train until their brains bleed and to not spend money on accessories but buy lots of mags. This poll inquires about the latter.

Anyone buy only one type of mag?(PMAG fanboys,G.I. purists, etc.)

I only buy pmags. I've had too many failures with other mags to trust them. Now I could find some other mags with the pmag follower but they're usually more expensive

No. I have probably 50/50 PMags to GI. And I have different varieties of both. Steel, aluminum, FDE, OD, Gen1 Pmags, Gen3 Pmags a few of the Emags back when they made them, a couple odd balls like IWI polymer mags and I think 1 Microtech mag.

PMAGS in all of my AR's, plus enough to fill all my loadouts, plus extra PMAGS, plus a lot of D&H mags with the Magpul followers. I have a bunch of used GI mags, but they're not in my service lineup.

P-Mags and C-Products mags for the AR-15 and currently GI mags for the AK although I'm in the market for some 30rd Bulgarian Waffle mags if I can find them reasonably.

I use all pmags for the ARs. They have worked every time with out any trouble and they don't cost that much. What more could you ask for.

Pmags mostly. I do have a couple ProMags for some reason. I think it was a mistake. I buy Pmags now because you guys seem to like them and I like their stance on that ridiculous state government of Colorado.
