    Ruger 10/22?

I was talking with friend about 10/22s, and I think that almost any one who owns more than a few guns has a 10/22. I think every one should have at least one...

I have two as of right now, hoping they continue to multiply.

One is set up with a scope and the other has tech sights on it. I'm going to use the tech sight rifle at an Appleseed in December.

Plus I'm rifle sitting my son's bull barrell version. He'll be lucky if he gets it back :D

I do not now, nor have I ever owned a 10/22. I have nothing against them, and would love to have one, just have never had the occasion to buy one. I do, however, own an older Marlin 60, that is also an excellent rifle.

I substituted a Marlin 795 for the 10/22's place in my lineup. As an accurate, mag fed, lightweight, inexpensive plinking rifle, it was in my opinion a better choice than a 10/22. However, if I wanted a .22 rifle that looks like an AR15, or an AK47, or some other tacticool or snipery type rifle, the 10/22 is probably the most viable choice out there to make such a thing from (and I've seen some nice looking ones).

First firearm I ever shot was a 10/22. I finally bought one. I've got more than a few guns and wouldn't have picked up a 10/22 except for the sale was too good to pass up.

No, sadly I do not have a 10/22. I have certainly had a lot of experience with them, however. I am in the market for a .22LR rifle. I am currently deciding between the 10/22 and the Smith and Wesson M&P 15-22.

I have a 15-22 (MOE version). If you have/shoot an AR, then I'd certainly recommend the 15-22. It takes almost all the accessories that an AR will take (besides handrail/guard which would require some modifications).

I have the 15-22 for training/familiarity/cheap shooting, etc with the AR platform to avoid having another platform to become familiar with in a 22. I have AA kits for my Glocks for similar reason, rather than having another 22 handgun platform to become familiar with.
