I keep my firearms, and a bit of ammo, in three locations. It may be overkill but in case of fire, theft, or Obama, I should be good to go. Anyone else keep secure back up sites?
My Glock 21w/light and red dot and my Glock 26 are next to the bed w/2 flashlights and 2 loaded mags each close by. My RRA AR 15 and S&W 357 are loaded in my office. I think I'm good to go.
Our bedrooms are on the 2nd floor, which is where everything is. I've been debating on moving some stuff to my office/mancave in the basement, as that's where I spend the majority of my time at home.
I was thinking the other day if someone broke in, I may not have the opportunity to run up two floors to get to my bedroom.
I keep most of my stuff in a 900 lb safe in the basement, but I have a few other hiding places in the house where i keep a ready gun and extra mags in various places around the house. Just in case.....
You are at work when a tornado hits your house, or a gas leak evacuates your neighborhood. A weapon, some ammo, and a little cash, in another location, keeps you in the game.
