Dick's Sporting Goods in Ohio are making me mad! >:(

Today for the 2nd time in the last 6 months or so, I was told by a Dick's employee that they wont sell to Indiana residents.

They have a cricket .22 on clearance for $95.

I even asked if they knew that they could sell to residents of neighboring states, and he was aware but said it was store policy.

So I called 3 Indy area Dick's to see if they had the same rifle, but they were all sold out. They also said they will sell to residents of neighboring states no problem.

I honestly got some nasty responses from local gun stores in Dayton that I wanted to browse when I mentioned that I was from Indiana.

I got the same reaction from out-of-state, but bordering, Dunhams. Store Policy>Law.

Have them ship it to Indiana. I ordered a CZ rifle from Dicks and they gave me a very sweet deal on it.

Castleton on 86th had 8 cricketts on Sunday afternoon, pink, several laminates, wood in black or brown.

Would they do a store transfer? Not sure if that loophole to the quoted store policy would exist.
