Well, the Dems aren't even pretending to abide by the Constitution, now. Democratic Senator Baucus has confessed that the health care bill is intended to address "income mal-distribution."

They are openly admitting they are conducting a revolution, overthrowing the Constitution, and trying to turn this nation into a Soviet state.

Too often, much of late, the last couple three years, the mal-distribution of income in American is gone up way too much, the wealthy are getting way, way too wealthy and the middle income class is left behind," he said. "Wages have not kept up with increased income of the highest income in America. This legislation will have the effect of addressing that mal-distribution of income in America."

That's from Max Baucus. And he's FAR from the most activist of the Socialists in control of Congress. For him to make such a confession gives a truly frightening insight into the minds of those even further left, the people who are in control of our Legislative and Executive branches.

    "income mal-distribution."

I'm not sure I eve understand the premise of such a quote. As a middle class worker I am thank-ful for the "rich" I have never been employed by one who receives welfare or entitlements from the goverment. If it wasn't for the wealthy people that re-invest in their businesses and others what would the un-emploment rate really be.

I think we are beginning to see what is going to be a long line of consiquences of this health care bill with already new taxes on small entities like the tanning beds. Not to mention the companies such as ATT, John Deere, Catapillar already making plans to possibly change benefits due to increase cost.

Basically what he's saying is if you sit at home all day on your A**, eating bon bons and watching tv, collecting a goverment check each month, the people that go out and work for a living should give you more of their paycheck so you can sit at home all day on your A** eating bon bons and watch tv and collect a bigger goverment check each month.
    That's the new American way!

The real problem is the Federal Reserve. They are the ones that take away money from the common man and hand it over to the social elite. It's more like statism and authoritarianism than socialism. I wish that these government heads would address the real issues.........

Maybe ol' Max should put his money where his mouth is. He could probably still live well with the government taking 75% of his assets. The same goes for all socialism spouters.

It's sickening really is.... Obama is just a puppet for these socialistic Power hungry sob's that are thinking nothing about helping our country that so many people lost their lives for and worked their asses off for. I just don't see what their doing to help anything including the economy. Maybe we will have some sort of revolution down the road. I mean I really don't have an much of an opinion about it...lol

"Our safety, our liberty, depends upon preserving the Constitution of the United States as our fathers made it inviolate. The people of the United States are the rightful masters of both Congress and the courts - not to overthrow the Constitution, but to overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution."
    -- Abraham Lincoln

Of course this is not meant as an incitement to revolution.

This is just so sad. President O said what he was going to do, and the people elected him. The USA doesn't have a problem with too many leftists. The USA has a problem because it is now a leftist country.

On the plus side, if you're the rebellious type, just be conservative. You can spite the majority and rebel simply by being yourself. Right is the new left- we righties are the new hippies, the new outcasts. We are beat-nicks with guns and SUV's. So, what do we do now? We look at how the 60's radicals took over, and follow their plan. It obviously worked for them.

Any legislator who admitts to, creating a socialist state, or wealth distribution, by their voting on or creating such legislation, should be brought up on treason charges and shot.

I spent 11 years in the Army as an enlisted man. I made less than 15K in 1994. I made less than 25K in 1995, 1996, and 1997. I made less than 50K for the next few years after that. For the last few years, my wife and I are in a bracket that the Dems characterize as "rich," which I can promise you is total BS. For the last several years we've had a house we rent, but it's value has depreciated, and we take at least a $500 hit on it every month, not including the months we eat the whole thing in between renters. We haven't been able to sell it, and because we supposedly make too much money, we can't deduct our losses.

My wife is an Air Force brat of a twenty year enlisted man, and I grew up most of my life in a trailer, son of a construction worker with a Mom who cut hair. We both put ourselves through college - Master's degrees - without the help of family.

So now we've made it to a better place. Now we're the enemy. Now we owe everyone else, right? Now we've discovered that somehow we were born lucky, and we should give back. Do you know how many years we'd have to make our current income to even out all the years we didn't make money?

When I lived in Germany in the eighties, cash register operators made enough money to have a middle class lifestyle. Lawyers made about twice as much as cash register operators. Most folks fell in between.

The thing that makes this country great is striving to better your position. The elites who would "help" us all, would see that everyone fell into that big middle, and that striving was a waste of time. Unless you strive for political position, of course, because in the world of socialism it's political connections that allow you to move up, not your own hard work and innovation.

In a free market, a dollar in your hand is your proof that you have done your part for society. In a socialist system that dollar is proof you've screwed your fellow man.
