Emily Miller has a piece out on the drawn out case for carry in DC. The judge in the case basically is refusing to issue a judgement and allow the case to come to a conclusion and/or go further up the ladder. Alan Gura has had to file twice now to try and get a ruling issued. Maybe they're just waiting till everyone in the case dies of old age. Given developments in other places the judge already knows how he should be ruling. My guess is he just doesn't want to make the ruling and have DC become a Shall Issue, gun carrying place. Hopefully Gura's latest attempt will bear fruit, even though the Appeals sourt seems to be OK with the feet dragging.
