Well some of you might remember my ACT scores thread. I got a letter from the college doing the 7th grade talent search program. Not only did I make it in. They said my grades and ACT score averaged together put me into the top 5% of 7th graders. IN AMERICA

Being in the top 5% in most anything will get you places. Top 50% means you thought about doing something, top 25% takes either some effort or natural ability, the top 10% generally dedicates themselves to whatever it is that is being ranked. I tried to stay in the middle 50% (really, I didn't try too hard to move past the top 30-40%) because that is where most of the fun is...safe-ish fun anyway.
