Looking for a used desktop, or possibly a laptop computer.
Looking for something that works well. I'd rather buy something from someone I can trust, so I'd rather buy one here than from a questionable person on craigslist. Anyone out there with one for a reasonable price?
want the OS to be newer than XP.

I have an asus mini laptop. Paid $350 for it a couple years ago, used it less than 5 hours. You can have it for $200 if you want, but not a huge screen.

If you want a computer for cheap and want it to stay somewhat current for several years you should consider building it from parts. Tiger Direct frequently has kits available. Note: this will be for the computer but not monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers, etc.
