The Comprehensive Indiana Gun Law class, taught by Guy Relford of Tactical Firearms Training, was very informative and presented in an organized and complete manner. It really opened my eyes as to where Indiana citizens are allowed carry (and not), and how to behave/what to say (or not say) when confronted by law enforcement officials. Another really valuable "take away" from the course was Guy's very sage advice to ask yourself "do I really have to do this?" before considering discharging a firearm defensively. It is clear that even if you are justified in using lethal force to defend yourself, you may still have an expensive and time-consuming battle on your hands to prove that in a court of law. I'm glad I took the time to attend this course. I feel better prepared to comfortably handle a traffic stop and protect my rights and legal standing, and better prepared to make the right spilt-second decision if ever necessary.
