In a 1911 design, I would consider a Colt New Agent. Lots of these little buggers will take some tweaking to get as reliable as a full size, so I'd opt for one designed for deep carry in a "snag free" set up. Gutter sights take some getting used to, but its a good one. Glock's offerings are always a good choice...unless you want a single stack.[/QUOT]
Well............how 'bout the '36......?

Go Commander.

Lol, comparative thickness in other words.
Not sure I follow...you disagree? I agree the commander is best.
Nope, but why buy something you have to tweak?
I liked LEGO's as a kid?
That also explains the Glock thing.
I liked LEGO's as a kid? I meant micro compact 1911's in general, I've had a few and all had issues. Commander-ish sized guns have never given me an issue.
Micro's are not actually 1911's due to the needed extra parts, springs etc. Wouldn't have one, I got tired of tweaking .
Got me there...should have read your sig line.
