    3(3X+3) = Y

    9X + 9 = Y

    9(X+1) = Y

    It is an intrinsic property of 9 that the product of 9 and Z forms a two-digit number: [Z-1][9-(Z-1)] = [Z-1][10-Z]

    So, if Z = (X+1):

    9Z = Y

    9Z = Y = [Z-1][10-Z]

    Y = [X+1-1][10-(X+1)]

    Y = [X][9-X]

    So, if you add the digits:

    Q = (X) + (9-X)

    Q = 9

    It is an intrinsic property of 9 that the product of 9 and Z forms a two-digit number: [Z-1][9-Z-1] = [Z-1][8-Z]

    So, if Z = (X+1):

    9Z = Y

    9Z = Y = [Z-1][8-Z]

    Y = [X+1-1][8-X+1]

    Y = [X][9-X]

    ICQ? Seriously? I don't think I've used ICQ for 15 years. That flower logo yanked the end of my spine. "Enginerd" is definitely a virtuous word, though. It fits me, very well. I'll be using that, as well as "Who left the bag of idiots open?" and "enstupidated". Those amuse me.

    I know, right? I only keep putting it in profiles, because forum software keeps defaulting to having it in profiles. I don't think I've used ICQ in forever, either. Would be better to replace ICQ with Twitter, and AIM with Facebook, or something.
