The liberals don't care about the economic impact. More wards of the state, they hope.

So has the crime rate in CO plummeted with all those dangerous guns off the street?

Same question about NY, MD, CT with their "progressive" new laws. Those should be metaphysically safe places to live these days.

Wow, the idiocy of liberals never ceases to amaze me. Their stupidity is killing the local economy and federal economy.

Maybe that has been their goal all along. Maybe those 10 rural counties will all sell their properties off and become available for urbanization. Just a thought...we all know liberals like city life and despise land owners.

The liberals won't be satisfied until they have destroyed Colo. like other states they have already left their mark on. When that happens they'll migrate to another one and do the same.

I started on that article and wandered off to some others talking about the recall votes that have been validated for two of the CO Legislators who voted for the restrictions in the first place. It will be interesting to see how that proceeds given how many votes the recalls managed to gather. Perhaps a lesson can be learned here about actually listening to your voting constituents? I won't hold my breath.

My wife and I were planning a trip out West including a pass through Colorado to "do" Pike's Peak, Mt. Evans, and Trail Ridge Road again. Those are the Colorado Big Three. We've ridden them on our motorcycle several times over the years. Those plans were changed due to Colorado's new gun laws. I sent a message to the Governor, before he signed, that we would not be spending our tourist dollars there if he signed. He chose to sign anyway.

Our plans now involve a stop in North Dakota to visit a grandson (we were doing that anyway), then trips across the Going To The Sun highway in Montana (twice), the Beartooth in Montana/Wyoming (twice), the Chief Joseph in Wyoming, the Big Horn range in Wyomimg, Crazy Horse mountain, and the Badlands (all again). The tops of the mountains are fun wherever they are. This'll be as good as the Big Three - probably even better.

Yep, choices have consequences. What Colorado doesn't want will go to other States. I can live with it, sure hope they can. :)

I think you have made some outstanding choices. Enjoy. :yesway:

Me and my old man used to hunt there every year for elk. Guess who won't be stepping foot there again?

The more people starving is good for the democrats an their cronies. They get a chane to get more folks hooked on welfare and other socialist programs.
Translates to more big govt. it's a win for them. You will never see a light bulb turn on over these folks heads and say "oops we goofed up!" Nope not those liberal a holes.

What happens when ALL the manufacturing is gone, and we're all either employed by the state or on the dole? Does anyone believe the rest of the world will be buying our debt in the future?

I'm also curious, when 100% of the budget is service on the debt?

    Weimar here we come.

The problem with this form of parasitism is that it doesn't coexist with the host, it annihilates it.

Colorado is just one symptom of this mindset.

I'll revive this thread and beg for forgiveness in advance...

I'm going to Colorado. Denver, no less.

I will do my best to spend my money in gun lovin' Wyoming on my way.
