I recently got a g19 with the letters filled in white. First thing I did was grab a toothpick and nail polish remover. It was harder to get off than I though. If you really like the look then go for it, but I don't care for it and it will NOT increase the value imo.

i did it to my friends gun lol and i dont really like the crayon thing really stupid and not wanting to do it with paint to much work to deface a nice xdm lol

This is like people who put chrome tailgate latches and door handles on their vehicles. Why do people want to draw attention to the most unsightly parts of an item?
