Are there any good universal cleaning kits available?

I got a Hoppes kit that is pretty nice came with cleaner and oil also. You can pick them up at Wal-Mart

I've been around so long I got bits and pieces from all kinds of kits. To answer your question. There are good kits available at various outlets. A suggestion and I'm sure the guys here will have more; get a solid one piece rod for your rifle if that's what your are cleaning.

I recently bought an Otis elite cleaning kit...kinda pricey but well worth the money cleans everything from .17hmr to 10 gauge.

What all are you looking to be able to do with it? I think the types of guns you have and if you will be doing full break downs all the time or just basic cleaning will make a slight difference in what you consider.

Wal-Mart has a good kit for $20 to $30 , it has every brush , mop & patch holder you would need . Solvent & oil would be all you need to go with it .
