So, i was thinking about trying out something different. I have an MOE stock for my soon-to-be SBR, and was wondering what y'alls thoughts were on a hack job like this. I like the way itll look on my SBR (bottom pic), but Im afraid it may not be structurally sound. What does INGO think?

Personally I think it's ugly. What's more important though is function. I don't know how long that stock would last before it breaks...

It certainly would be novel and an eye-catcher. But I think chopping it would negate some of its purpose-built functionality.

The enclosed adjustment lever is normally protected from accidental activation-- now it won't be.

Structurally you'll lose that side of the strong triangle.

I say try it. If it works, great. If not, it was only a $45 experiment (that you can share with INGOers;)).

I think it would snag on stuff more plus it may break. If you like the look you could always switch to an ACE stock.

Otherwise i'd keep it as is\
