Going to an Indy Ice game tonight and would like to know if any of you guys know If they have extensive security over there when you walk in. I really don't want to leave my gun in the car, and need to know if im gonna have to strap my gun to my ankle tonight.

Other than at concerts, I've never seen that much security, other than them taking tickets. I CC every time I go to an Ice game. Can't be too careful. Never seen any signs saying not to.

i thought there was an indiana code dealing with a sporting event with a certain number of attendance that prohibited this. i am not 100% clear on this, someone with more knowledge should be able to offer more help soon.

That's MI, specifically relating to venues that seat more than 2000 (?). There are also a few other states that prohibit carry @ 'professional sporting events", like FL. IN does not have any law prohibiting carry in these locations (unless it is a 'school event').

Nope, ain't nothing of the sort here in Indianapolis.

Carry at the State Fairgrounds is 100% perfectly legal during all events EXCEPT for the Indiana State Fair.

There shouldn't be much security at all at Pepsi Coliseum, it was basically non-existent when I went to an Ice game last year.
