Is for when someone posts pictures, and the links are dead. Internet Explorer shows a white box with a red X to indicate this.

It is basically used to make fun of/notify the poster that their photos are not working and that they need to fix their links.

When you register, there is a spot to put a Referrer's username. If you have a friend that registers, and they want to give you credit for them finding the site, they put your username in that spot.
