My ultimate food storage goal is 6 months. For a family of four w/ an estimated intake of 2,000 per person/day = 1,440,000 calories
Not sure I will ever make it.
What goal has everyone else set and are you tracking the calories your storing?
Mixture MRE's, Wise foods, grocery store canned food, And homemade dried jerky,vegies,and such. Started canning last year (strawberry jam) and will expand to other things this summer / fall. Also planting small (10x 15) garden for tomatoes and peppers and onions. Enough to get some knowledge and know how.
