Buried Treasure

I have a bad habit of buying various accessories, ammo, etc. with a plan in mind then putting things aside. I have a pile of boxes in the man cave that grows over time. Now, I remember most of this stuff but inevitably something slips my mind.

Went digging last night for stuff I could throw into my local club's annual auction. Forgot I had but happy to have found were the following:

500 rounds of 7.62x39mm HP
500 rounds of Blazer .38 spl LRN
250 rounds 9mm FMJ
400 rounds of CCI Mini Mag HP
5 commie surplus AK mags in a mag pouch
2-20 round AR mags
2-10 round flush fit AR mags
4 esbit stoves
3 swedish alcohol stoves
4 cheap flint and steel combos
12 E. German 90 round ammo packs
100 SKS stripper clips

I seriously need to organize things better

Mine wasnt as big a find as yours but I was cleaning out a dresser in my room. On top of it was a model of dodge viper. When i opened the trunk of it I found a $100 dollar bill. I must have put it there when I had some extra cash on me......it put a smile on my face!

Well, John, knowing what little I do, I am not at all surprised... but am tickled pink for you.

It's always nice to find something 'extra' that you didn't realize you had.

When I was packing things up to move awhile back I was finding ammo everywhere. I found around 1k rounds of .17hmr and while cleaning out the garage I found several hundred rounds of 12 and 10ga steel shot but unfortunatly it had all gone bad..it was put away wet or water got into the buckets I had "stored" it in.
