Bringing powder into the show to trade? Allowed or not allowed?

Howdy guys. I'm aware that people are allowed to check their rifles/handguns at the entrance so that they can sell them on the show floor. My question is, are you allowed to bring in or check a 1lb jar of powder at the entrance to try to trade it inside?

My guess is "NO", but you will probably get a more concise answer from someone that actually knows. Or you could call someone from the Indy 1500 organizers.
