EDT: I forgot you may be to young to get the reference. Check out "A Clockwork Orange" the movie by Stanley Kubrick, Or better yet read the book if you can find it by Anthony Burgess.

Dont belive me? I have an original hardback copy of the US version released in 1963 and a newer paperback re-release of the Euro version for the US market from the late 90's I think.

One has more chapters than the other. And the story continues after Alex leaves the hospital. ;)

I leave the rest to you.

Since you're looking for metal, I'm guessing you're on the look for a stuff that's a little more obscure, a little more melodic. Here are a couple bands to check out.

I never like listening to or posting what everybody already listens to. I like to find more obscure stuff.

I am a fan of Ahab. I found Mournful Congregation a while back while perusing Ahab on youtube.

But I HAVE to post the obligatory Lemmy/Dave Grohl/LOTS of Suicide Girls video. Not so much for the song, but for the video:

Check out Kalmah, some people on this board got me into them from the metal thread and i've bought Swamp song, and the Black Waltz. Black Waltz is easily the best metal cd i've heard in over a decade
