I don't have a bow yet, but will in the next month or so. I traded some osage orange staves I cut to a guy out in Montana and he's making me a bow out of one of them. Shouldn't be too much longer before it arrives!
As much as I like my guns, generally if I'm hunting anything other than waterfowl, it is with a bow. I love bow hunting and shooting bows in general.
As for what I shoot ... a Mathews Switchback XT.
Bows are a very personal thing. What fits me and my style of shooting may or may not fit yours. If you are picking out a bow for yourself, find a couple good pro shops and shoot every bow that they have that falls in your budget. Get the one that feels right in your hands. No one makes a bad bow these days, just different flavors is all.
