Bipod mounting to a laminate stock?

    Are you wanting to ever remove it? If not, epoxy it. If you do want to remove it, why not use a stainless nut and bolt. Just recess drill the inside and throw the nut in there, then use the screw from the other side.

    I thought about using a Chicago screw, if you don't know what it is Google it. Its like a double ended bolt I guess, male and female. I just don't want it to pull out of the laminate and ruin the stock is all, chances of it happening is slim to none but better safe then sorry imo

    You could bring it to me. I'll be happy to do it on the mill. I could make an aluminum bushing in the lathe, drill and tap the bushing, then epoxy it to a drilled hole in the stock. Then use a matching screw to hold the bipod in place. Kind of like a "pillar bed" for your bipod.
