Which are the most serene and beautiful lakes/rivers/streams/etc in the Hoosier state? And which have your favorite wild life? (wild drunken girls on pontoon boats don't count) ;)

I really like Turkey run state park. Nice river (sugar creek) and great hiking (although all the trails are kind of short)

    Lake Monroe is nice too.

Floating the Mississinewa below the dam used to be a very peaceful canoe trip, the smallie fishing was great, and the scenery around 7 Pillars was pretty nice. But I haven't done it in years so I don't know if it still is or not.

I love the Wabash. Not a lot of people, good bowfishing. Nice sandbars to camp on.

hard to beat monroe...sopme really beautiful areas (creek side) that rival waters ive seen down in the Smokies area, esp in the fall. the wake side is a bit annoying, unless youre out there with em that is.
