Saw some italian 92s for $559 at the 1500.

The Italian ones always sell for a few dollars more even though the only real differences are the markings. $600 for a new 92FS from Italy is not bad these days. I have seen several dealers asking more. If you find one for less, even better!!!

Depends on the innards. An ugly finish doesn't mean a worn out gun.

$550-$600 or around $1,000 at Don's Guns but it's really up to you where to buy it.

That is not a bad price...you may be able to find it a bit cheaper if you really shop around. I got a like new on with night sights (older straight dust cover model) for $415! Absoultey as near new as you could get! I rearely buy new, but look for those "as new" deals out there. Plus, for me...I prefer the look of the older, straight dust cover.
