Beer Battered Bacon Grilled Cheese

Yep you read it right. I hear bacon is pretty popular around these parts...

So my uncle sends me a lot of emails (like spammer a lot ) but now and then I find something good.

Today it was Beer Battered bacon grilled cheese.

Used a rustic Tuscan bread, which has a nice crust but a meaty moist inside. And I did not use the cheddar...just the provolone. I just don't know how to describe it, the cheese was all melty and the bacon nice and crisp....just a bare taste of the ale. It was fabulous!

Sure, it's not a daily meal. For some of us anyway.

I know some people use mayo instead of butter on the bread...but I'd advise against it in this recipe.
