Was looking forward to sending a little lead down range yesterday after mowing and weed eating. Got one shot off seems that yellow Jackets do not like 223 ammo! Seems like I failed to check the moud of dirt behind my target frame. Found out the hard way there was a very large net in the tall grass. Looking forward to doing a little different target shootng today with a can or Raid lol

If they're ground bees, wait until after dark.......a little kerosene or diesel fuel works wonders. No need to light it, just find the hole and pour.

They return to the nest in the early evening (but still light). Gasoline works. If you are allergic, take precautions (boots, long-sleeve shirt, pants legs tucked in boots or secured with rubber bands, hat, Benadryl or epi pen if you have a prescription for one). If they are ground hornets they can be vindictive and persistent little buggers. I ran over a nest with the mower and they chased me all the way from the barn to the house. I lost the battle but came back that evening and won the war.

    Close, but no cigar.

Engage in psychological warfare by sending their own kind after them:
