I want my PPS43 folding stock operational but refuse to pay a tax! I think adding barrel length would be better than a fake can or other extension. I know I could change it over to 9mm but prefer the 7.62x25 ballistics. Any suggestion, thoughts?

You don't happen to work at 10 W Market St # 500, Indianapolis, IN 46204; do you?

So you already have an SBR, but want to now make it legal so you don't have to get a tax stamp?? Depends how short the barrel is from a 16" length. How long is the barrel??

Call ATF Indy, and ask how to do it.

The stock is spot welded to the receiver so it is classified as a pistol right now. Very ackward to shoot! The barrel is about 10 inches so I won't convert it to a SBR.

A barrel extention is going to extend beyond the muzzle brake. It would have to be machined to slide over the existing barrel and then pinned and welded in place. Sounds like a tax stamp would be an easier solution.
