I just bought a Ruger Security Six .357 revolver with a 6" barrel. As I started looking for a holster for this beast, I realized that wearing this on my hip would require at least a 10 gallon hat and leather chaps. And I don't think they make an IWB for a 6" barrel. I started looking at shoulder holsters, and found this bandolier style. I haven't seen many of them, which may indicate something in and of itself, but I wanted to know if anyone else had tried these. The advantages would be ease of wearing and removing, and being able to store the weapon easily while in the holster, plus you can wear a speedloader case on the bandolier instead of a belt. Here is a link to the one I am looking at.
