    I boycott Autozone already, primarily because their staff is incompetent and their parts are largely subpar.

    I saw this story earlier. Whether I agree with it or not, if it is stated Company Policy then they are within their rights to discharge him. Stupid or not. However, just as I said when I first saw this story this morning, they may as well tell the crooks...

    I understand the corporate "stated" policy due to insurance, but to fire an employee for being a hero is reprehensible. I may not be spending my money at AutoZone any time soon.

    I boycotted autozone years ago when I bought a set of bosch platinum spark plugs for a ford ranger and the center fell out of a plug,busted the head and all they wanted to do was refund the price of the plugs.autozone SUCKS.

    That is strange. I was in an Autozone the only time I've actually ever reached for my gun in public. To my dismay it wasn't there...I was in Illinois. This jackleg in line in front of me was threatening to kill the cashier.
