So maybe they're right. Maybe they don't belong in the snowflake league.

    This was interesting:

“This is absurd,” parent Sherri Palmgren told the station. “Do we take the (NFL’s) Patriots or Cardinals, who are going to the championship game, and kick them to the curb because they’re too good?”

While I agree with the sentiment, probably could have used a better example. Those teams lost in their respective conference championship games. Can anyone beat the Panthers?

Actually, I thought the Pats and Cards won their first 3 games, and were 3-0 at the start of the season? Should they have been benched for the season, to gives other teams a better chance?

Turns out both teams eventually got beaten. More than once.

Why not let the girls play, and see if another team can rally for a win?

I've been on both sides of this as a coach of my kids' teams. A couple times we had a REALLY good team and steamrolled people. If there was a higher level to play, I would've welcomed it.

I've also had teams that couldn't win a game. We were competitive in some, but some of the teams we played were clearly looking for a cupcake league to dominate. That ticked me off.

Frankly, it is harder to coach the kids who are bulldozing through the competition. Both in terms of coaching sportsmanship, and getting them to improve. I welcome the opportunity to play as-good or better competition, personally.

Police in England can apparently just waltz into your ****ing house, take pictures, and tweet it to the public. Including your belongings, your security sytem... etc.

    What the hell

What happens when they surprise someone while sneaking into their home and get shot?

    Wait..... England....... nevermind.

It's ok, if my door is unlocked you are apparently welcome to just come on in my home uninvited. Tea is at 4.

I'd call the Michael's incident a major facepalm event.

Appears that somebody thought it funny to rearrange some letters (display of all letters- used for decorating I guess) and spell the N word.

Probably some punk kid, as the spelling was wrong according to report.

The customer saw fit to post a pic on FB, then go to the cashier to file a complaint?

If one was so offended, why not simply swap some letters with others on the display and "erase" the word.

    Problem solved, in what.............10 seconds?

    But noooooooooooooooooooooooooo

I take it you haven't seen the recent story about the HS girls doing something similar, though quite a bit more offensive. The school is undecided on what disciplinary action to take. Social media cooks someone's goose again.
