I have done a little research after listening to 2 friends of mine tell me how impressed they were with how well the Noveske SS Recon performed. I am looking to get some feedback (Bad & Good)from people who have actually had a chance to play with one.:welcome:

Depends on YOUR budget, YOUR needs, YOUR intended (and actual) use...

For ME, yeah, I'll pay the extra $$ for "better" guns. Do I NEED it? No, probably not, but I'm pretty, I'm sensitive, and I think I'm worth it.

We should do a flowchart for questions like this. Make it a sticky.

That question really depends on what you are looking for.

If you are looking for a standard 16" rifle/middy carbine, then I don't see any reason to buy one over say a Daniel Defense, Colt, BCM. If you're looking for specific suppressed SBR setup or a more accurate rifle, then Noveske is where I would start. Their gen 2 lowers are also pretty awesome.

If you are going to take an AR and run the living dog**** out of it and have your life depend on its performance. Then hell yes you need a 'ski.

If you are going to punch holes in paper and think about zombies attacking some day, not so much...

I currently own a DD that I use for hunting and I love it. The goal for the Noveske was to get 1/2 moa like they state. If I order it I'll probably sell the DD.

As far a looking pretty.....I wish that a rifle would help me look better than I do, LOL! All kidding aside, they are good looking rifles.

Can anyone tell me about the feel/balance and the tolerances of Noveske rifles?

    Good Day!

My opinion. If you plan of using it for a paper puncher, and may one day need it for self defense, no. Do you plan on abusing the **** out of it on a daily basis, yes. I will not tell anyone how to spend their money. Look at things from a practical standpoint though.
